Oceanology International 2026 in London was an intense and rewarding experience for the PLOATECH team. Over the course of three days, we had the opportunity to connect with industry professionals, present our work, and explore new collaborations in the field of marine technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
From the very first day, it was clear that this year\u2019s event would be something special.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Day 1: Setting the pace<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
The team was set up early at the Future Tech Hub (Stand J602) and quickly started welcoming visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
From the start, there was strong interest in what we do at PLOATECH. Many conversations revolved around complex underwater challenges where standard solutions are simply not enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our work focuses on exactly that space:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The goal is always the same. Deliver reliable, engineering-driven solutions for demanding marine environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Although our Founder & Technical Director, Dr. Angelos Mallios, was at sea conducting fieldwork and could not attend, his presence was still felt through ongoing discussions and future follow-ups already planned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Day 2: Full speed ahead<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
The second day brought a steady and dynamic flow of visitors to the stand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Discussions became more targeted, with professionals looking for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Integration capabilities for complex subsea systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
One of the highlights of the day was our participation in the Ocean Futures Forum, where our Business Development Manager presented our latest products and capabilities. It was a great opportunity to showcase how our solutions translate into real-world applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Beyond the presentations, what stood out most was the quality of interactions. These were not just quick introductions, but meaningful conversations with clear potential for collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Day 3: Strong closing and real outcomes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
The final day confirmed the overall success of the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The level of engagement exceeded expectations, both in terms of interest and the depth of discussions. By the end of the exhibition, the PLOATECH team returned with approximately 100 new leads to follow up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is a strong indication that demand for flexible, engineering-driven marine technology solutions continues to grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
More importantly, many of these leads represent concrete opportunities. Projects that are already defined or actively being planned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What we take away<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Events like Oceanology International are not just about visibility. They are about connection, validation, and direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
