One of the visits for experimental purposes was at the Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Our focus there was to prepare the A-TIRMA sail drone for our upcoming experiments. We’ve made significant progress on it, installing key communication and navigation components ensuring all systems are go for remote operations.
At once, electronics have been verified that function correctly, as the USBL/modem transducers from Evologics and the position of the USBL electronics housing have been installed.
Our collaborative efforts have set the stage for the upcoming Kolumbo experiments.
A big shout-out to all our partners and specially to the Universidad de la Palmas and the Research Center SIANI for their collaboration and hospitality.
Stay tuned for more updates!
